Our 10 & Under Beginner Tennis Class is designed to give young athletes the perfect start to their tennis journey in a structured yet fun learning environment. Using green dot balls, which bounce lower and move slightly slower than regular balls, players are able to practice with more control and success, making it easier to develop confidence and consistency from the very beginning.

Over the six-week session, players will learn and build upon the following fundamentals:

  • Proper grips and swing technique for forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves

  • Rally skills to rally with partners and sustain short exchanges

  • Footwork patterns and movement drills to improve agility and coordination

  • Introduction to scoring, serving, and game play in a supportive atmosphere

  • Fun, interactive drills and games designed to keep kids engaged and motivated

This program is perfect for players who are 10 years old and under and new to the sport, or who have minimal tennis experience and are ready to learn the basics. Our coaches emphasize building not only tennis skills but also sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.

With small group instruction, each child receives the attention they need to progress at their own pace while still being part of a fun and energetic group setting. By the end of the session, players will have a strong foundation in technique and the confidence to rally, serve, and play simple games with their peers.
